The new Solar Utility Pro is a PV tester that can be used on systems up to 1500 V.
Its current capacity of 40 A allows the Solar Utility Pro to test chains of modules up to a maximum of 1500 V / 40 A. This socket of meuse on parallel chains thus eliminates the tedious task of separating them to stay in the lower limits of other instruments.
A single press of the Test button will give readings of open circuit voltages and short circuit current, and when coupled with the Seaward Solar Survey 200R irradiance meter, the tester will also record irradiance measurements, modulus and ambient temperature.
The internal storage memory can store up to 999 measurements, which can be downloaded as a CSV file to a PC for review.
